Very Short Story

“For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”That’s it. 6 words. So many emotions at once. There’s a Wired piece where they got other authors to attempt to tell a story in 6 words. It’s pretty good.

on 1/29/2008 at 7:00 pm I actually use this with my students to show them how powerful words can be when put together the right way. I have them write their own six-word short stories. I have seen some heartbreaking ones (much like the Hemingway), and some really funny ones.
