Moving!

Ok, this may sound crazy to some of you out there, but after only being in our apartment for 5 months, we’re changing apartments in our building. The offere was too good to pass up. An additional 230 sq.ft. for only $60 more a month. We’ll be adding a Den, an extra bathroom and upgrading [...]

Team America: World Police

So I finally got around to seeing Team America: World Police. I laughed so hard I was in tears and my stomach hurt.
Compared to South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut, Team America is a much better movie. The quality takes a bit of hit with it all being done with puppets, but at the [...]

Katz’s Delicatessen

So Maggie and I where headed to a silly art opening at a bar on the Lower East Side for a co-worker of mine’s wife and were recommended to stop at Katz’s Deli on the way.
Little did we remember that’s the diner from the orgasm scene in When Harry Met Sally! They even have [...]

Moulin Rouge! On the Big Screen

Yes, I know, not exactly current cinema. But tonight Maggie and I went to the ClearView Cinema in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan to see the Moulin Rouge! on the big screen as a part of their Thursday “classics” night. We had missed the movie when it originally played in theaters and thought it [...]

ZooDotCom

A friend of mine runs a fun comic site called ZooDotCom. Just a little plug for it here. It makes me laugh. Although I’m waiting on him and yet another friend to get Lil Monstas released, as that shows promise as well. But no pressure guys.

Ugh…

I went to high school with this guy…ugh…well, good for him. This is a link to his NFL Salary the past 4 years as the punter for the Indianapolis Colts.
Hunter Smith
I guess it’s good to see people from my small home town make it somewhat big.

Nip in the air

Well, today we woke up and it was 34 degrees. Starting to get cooler here. Hmm, if this is the temp in November…I can’t imagine the temp in January. Good thing we started buying warmer clothes. I see that Dallas had a low of 53 degrees. Well, at least we’re keeping the 20 degree average [...]

An Afternoon In Central Park

Maggie and I made it to Central Park and enjoyed a little time there drinking hot chocolate. They’ve also converted Wollman Skating Rink into an ice skating rink already. I believe this is the same rink in the movie Serendipity. Going to need to skate there and at Rockafeller Center ( They had theirs setup [...]
